Fluid Light S04

Composed of a plexiglass on the front and a printed support at an inch from the plexiglass to create the effect of fluid light in between the elements. On the transparent plexiglass there are mediterranean tones painted with a special acrylic medium that remind us of the water currents. On the solid support behind the plexiglass there is black/white print of a woman we can perceive through the waves represented on the plexiglass. As a painter and photographer interested in society and ecosystems, I like to combine both art forms on one platform to recreate the relationship with the abstract realm and our down to earth selves. The wooden frame consolidates the elements exposing a refreshing new scenery for the spectator.

In light of the rapid changes undergoing today’s world, my vision for the future of women’s empowerment must, first of all, respond to the deep-rooted changes in the demographics of our nations, and new opportunities for the positive transformation of the status quo.
