    Description

    This is a line drawing of a scene with a crab in Osaka. It is done freehand, without drafts. In the bustling scenery, I sprinkled some small words. I think it is wonderful that so many people, on so many different days, with so many different feelings, can gather together in a lively atmosphere. Although there are no people in the painting, I hope you will feel differently depending on your mood at the time.

    Concept

    I make line drawings based on the rule of freehand drawing and no preliminary sketches. I hope that my work, which is made up of lines that cannot be straight lines, will give the buildings a warm gaze, as if you can feel their body temperature. As my lifework, I make line drawings of landscapes in the city, and I also make line drawings on my sketching trips. I believe that the heart that is easily moved by something has the power to make society kinder. I would be happy if my own excitement, which is shaken by the scenery, could be propagated.
