An ancient Greek legend says that the daughter of the god Ocean, young Clytia, was in love with the sun god Apollo. Her love was immeasurable, so every day the water nymph followed the sunlight from the east at dawn to the west at sunset. But the god Apollo never reciprocated her feelings. At one fine moment, Clytia turned into a flower, it was a sunflower. And to this day, with his fluffy head, he strives for the sun.
