Over the years, I have filled my sketchbook with numerous drawings, but this time, I embarked on a new challenge – creating a large-scale ink drawing capturing the vibrant essence of a bustling marketplace. As I delved into this expansive spaces, the creative process flowed as seamlessly as ever.
Markets hold a special place in my heart, food enthusiasts understand the art of savouring life's flavours, and this is precisely why one rarely encounters melancholy souls amidst the market's lively atmosphere. Instead, the market is alive with individuals who are attuned to the pursuit of freshness and culinary delight.
In translating these scenes onto my canvas, it feels as though I am stepping into the very lives of these individuals and their families, painting a vivid portrait of their daily experiences.
