This painting is the second in a series about the cat Listik ("leaf" in Russian) He lives in the cat museum, which is located in Minsk. I often like to visit this place. A lot of cats live there who previously lived on the street. Volunteers sheltered them in the museum and now everyone can communicate with them at least every day and you can even take some of the cats home. I liked this cat, he is incredibly affectionate and playful. And he has a new friend - a gray mouse toy, with which he loves to spend his free time. Once a person takes it in his hands and shows it to the cat, he immediately wakes up and begins to hunt for it. This mischievous gaze staring at the toy immediately attracts attention.
Leafy has a very fluffy coat, which is very soft and delicate to the touch. And my favorite thing about him is his long wagging tail. He really likes to wave it when he starts his hunt for a mouse. This cute and funny cat in the picture will enliven any interior or room design.

Concept

My name is Tatiana Ilyina. And I am an artist in love with my work. I have a creative studio where I spend all my time painting as a professional activity. In my work I use only expensive high-quality materials, so for many years my paintings do not fade and remain in perfect condition.

Over the years I have tried many themes and techniques in my art. But right now I am in love with dry pastels. Often I add watercolor to them, which in combination is a unique and very rare technique. My paintings are full of life and joy. Often the subjects of the paintings are flowers, animals, nature. They inspire me madly to paint new and even more exciting subjects.

I am very happy that I have devoted my life to creativity. But the biggest happiness for me is that my paintings are actively sold all over the world. The paintings are in private collections in Australia, Belgium, and America. I also won a competition to support the people of Bergamo in the first wave of the coronavirus in Italy, and now my paintings hang in the consulate of that city.

I am also a member of the National Pastel Society of Russia and a member of the Union of Artists of Russia, and I also included in the unified register of professional artists. This is an official art communities recognized worldwide. I have participated in many exhibitions and my paintings have been purchased not only online but also off line.
