Legend #10 - Nissan Fairlady Z / Datsun 240Z Wangan Midnight Akuma no Zetto
The Nissan S30 (sold in Japan as the Nissan Fairlady Z and in other markets as the Datsun 240Z) is my favorite legend. The difference between the Nissan Fairlady and your everyday sports car is that about twice as much thinking went into the Datsun. And it shows. For the money the 240Z is a brilliant car. The soul of Japanese car culture cannot be better defined as what we have here. This artwork is a tribute to Wangan Midnight anime, the Akuma no Zetto or Devil Z, a beautiful and powerful car that killed its previous owners in car accidents, hence the name.
