THE CONCEPT
An artwork made specially for an open call “Metamorphosises”.
The plot is drawing a transformation from childhood to a mature age. This turn has a price — lightness of being, freedom and no responsibility. Wings are tied with threads — this is how mature people are trapped inside borders, built by government, sociality and what’s more — by ourselves.
TECHNICAL DETAILS
This piece is made with love.
I use only high quality materials: thick paper for acrylics and Finnish liners.
Artwork will be packed with love in a carefully made protection wrapping. Certificate of authenticy is included.

Concept

No doubt, all my paintings are fully or partly about me. I'm very enthusiatic and emotional person. "Unfortunately" I'm a perfectionist in all that links with my art or important life issues. Often my idealistic plans and appreciations faces the reality in all its sharp "bloom".
They are impaling my dreams, my fictional world. Here is an illustration of the process, of my feelings. Nevertheless, what not kills, makes us stronger. Each time this happens to me I'm getting tougher in my idealistic plans and perfect appreciations.

This art piece is made with love and high quality materials: organic cotton canvas, Dutch acrylic paints, painting knife as a tool and a construction roller.
The artwork is covered with a semi-gloss varnish for brightness, UV-protection and extension of work's life.

What kind of hardware should I use for hanging the artwork?

If you are concerned about repayment costs, such as when renting a house, wall pins and hooks that do not leave noticeable hole marks are available at major DIY Store and art supply stores.

If you want to hang a canvas with a hook, a hook type with a long hooking surface, such as a V-shaped type is recommended.

If there is a string on the back of the canvas or the back of the frame, you can hang it with a pin type that has a short hooking surface.
