This drawing is a depiction of the oppression that a person can suffer, suffering and feeling "crushed", which can also prevent him from expressing his opinion, dreams, ambitions and talents. The one in the picture is my reinterpretation of a passage from Dante's Inferno, and the people portrayed are one suffering, in whose eyes the pain is tangible, and the other intent on biting his neck, as if to crush him under its force making him suffer.
The technique with which this drawing was made is dotwork, that is, a set of dots fill the figure to give it depth and the dots are more numerous in the shadowy areas. The time taken by me to produce this work is about 150 hours. The materials used are a sheet (24x33 cm) and indelible fountain pens with the tip from 0.05 cm to 0.5 cm.
