On the third Sunday of June, Father's Day is celebrated in the United States and the Chicago Bulls had to play the final. Not even three years had passed since July of '93, when Dad James was killed. Jordan played the entire game with one thought in his head: win for him. At the buzzer, the entire stadium looks at the court: they hug the champions, but they're looking for "The" champion. He is in the locker room crying, sobbing, with the basketball, his brotherly friend, in his hands. The decision to draw this scene is due to the fact that you can also be a legend, but the family is always a pivotal point for anyone, and especially my desire to avoid family quarrels, because I believe that the sense of belonging to their loved ones is a right that everyone should have.
The technique used to produce this drawing is dotwork, that is, a set of dots fill the figure to give it depth and the dots are more numerous in the shaded areas. The time taken by me to produce this work is about 100 hours. The materials used are a sheet (48x33 cm) and indelible fountain pens with a tip from 0.05 cm to 0.5 cm.
