Concept

body of work proposes a series of dichotomies, of which is an esoteric one that
lies in that in-between-ness gray field that lies between science and mysticism. Nagui’s crops of
certain parts of the figure is almost like an imperceptible invite to the viewer, taking her/his hand
to Nagui’s intimate world, a guided tour to her personal diary, one that hosts stories of corporal
expression, a cosmos of relationships between herself and her subjects, before transforming
those intricate interactions into codes and symbols, secret ones, intimate ones, ones that live
another dichotomy of the allowed and the forbidden, the possible and the “im-possible”.
