Description

Now, there is this mill at The Hague, a place around the corner from where I live, called the 'Nieuwe Veenmolen'. Let me sketch you my living environment. That would be Mariahoeve: a nothing wrong residential area from the 1960s, safe but a bit boring. On my way to Brugman Art in Voorburg where I teach I pass by this mill twice a day. It is situated between Bezuidenhout which is built in the 1920s and the railroad tracks from Amsterdam to The Hague.
