As a printmaker and fine artist, I have been working in deep consideration of "painting" and "printmaking" in order to express my own view of life and the universe. Through copperplate prints, monotypes, drawings, and wood panel compositions that make full use of these techniques, I express the existence of human beings today as part of nature in the larger sense of the word. In recent years, he has been pursuing new possibilities in the space of two-dimensional expression by using contemporary printmaking techniques such as takuhanga and materials such as Japanese paper. Many of his panel works are assembled to evoke the human body or a kimono, and the large-sized panels (about 6 panels, each measuring 30" x 80cm) are displayed side by side on the wall.
