Barcelona, August 6, 2015. In the middle of the summer day, the residential streets are sparsely populated and people spend their time exclusively indoors, blocking the heat of the sun with blinds that only let the wind through. The strong sunlight, which takes eight minutes to arrive from the sun, creates large shadows under balconies. The shadow makes the world appear more dramatic in its appearance. It was drawn live with marker pen and pencil from the rooftop of the apartment where I lived.
