Old broken pieces of wood are joined together with a wedge and printed with Katsushika Hokusai's masterpiece "Kai-fu Kai-haru", a famous ukiyoe woodblock print of the Edo period. The base is made of polka-dot patterned origami paper cut and pasted together to create a pop-art finish, making the work suitable for a variety of situations.
