Medical experimentation in the service of gender neutrality, while cooling your throat with the black magic of Coke. ‘Hottest’ most likely only refers to the temperature in Centigrade. This is designed to establish a mood beyond the boundaries of familiarity, involving a collision between mechanisation and the flesh. Perhaps a relative of Ballard’s ‘Crash’, though this time incorporating mysterious elements of pop culture, such as the idea that drinking soda keeps you in the moment; and then exploring their dark inverse. This instance has the added dimension of the colour red.
