The best song off the Stones’ best album, and one of their most mysterious. A spiky opening guitar motif, calling up a swirling instrumental undertow. Full reverb on the lead guitar giving some vicious harmonics. As in all the best rock songs, the sonic density threatens to overwhelm the vocals, and cause the listener to lose their way. Candy and Taffy, hope we both are well, as you are sure to be.
