Transiency is a limited fine art print. Sinuous lines that comprise Emi ’s monochrome compositions are all hand drawn in ink on paper. Emi’s graphic use of geometry, combined with her flowing lines and organic shapes, inspired by the Art Nouveau style. The coiling lines are full of energy, movement, and dynamism, characteristic of the style.
The fluid and free flowing geometric abstract forms conjure a feeling of autonomy and freedom that showcases the impressive skill and control of their creator.
Emi’s freehand strokes wander the page freely, continuously altering the dimensionality of the picture’s surface. There is a subtle healing sensation of the movement which has a positive connotation to the title ‘Transience’
The multi-dimensionality in her work invites one to engage with the unknown and transport realities and energies of time, space and nature through art.
Some of her art prints can be placed horizontally, vertically, or next to each other, enabling viewers to explore different compositions.
With her visual language, multi-layered levels of interpretation open up.
In 2020, her works were exhibited at Bricklane Gallery London.
