    Description

This series of works is based on the traditional Ukiyo-e, "One Hundred Famous Views of Edo" by Hiroshige Utagawa, and depicts modern landscapes using the Dot-e (pixel art) technique that was once a drawing technique for video games. This work spins everyday life into Hiroshige's "Nihonbashi yukibare", symbiotically combining the modern and the traditional, the real and the virtual.
