Joy, pain, pleasure, suffering - it’s all part of the cycle and we can’t escape it. This expresses a defeated acceptance of phenomenon.
This is part of project “Magkaugnay”, created in Iceland during an artist residency. The remoteness of the town I stayed in felt like a paradox; it was isolated, but I felt all the more connected to it. The sea, the rocks, the wind, the morning lights, the mountains – all of them playing their songs, but only if you tune in to their frequency. I listened, and I only create what was whispered to me.
