Reverberations" depicts a series of bulging lines of light. The depiction of light is named after sound, such as reverberation and reverberation.
The painting, created as part of the "Living Things" project that has been running since 2020, imagines a scene in which fluorescent lights are connected to each other with an organic image of life and resonate with each other. Even lifeless things have some kind of phenomenon, and sometimes they appear to be alive. This is an abstract piece that deepens the world of Living Things, which follows the activities of living things.
This time, I used a technique called canvas printing to create this picture. This is a UV inkjet print on 100% linen canvas that has already been nailed down. The advantage of being printed is that the body is lightweight, weighing only about 400 grams. This characteristic makes it easy to hang it on the wall of your room with a drawing pin or nail.
The back of the canvas is marked with the title, year of production, and the artist's signature, as well as a statement that the work is an open edition (no limited edition).
