With this surrealistic painting I have introduced myself to the digital painting, using Procreate in a tablet device, and I found it pretty relaxing and I’m very happy with the results I got, in a way is very inspiring how relaxing can be working in the in tablet, carrying less stuff as the paints or the canvas, for example. The hours can go super fast while you paint on digital.
I spent most of my time with travellers and is how I start loving all about different culture and tradition. In particular I got inspired by the story and the love that people from Naples have for their land. A mix between popular believes, theater and love for the Vesuvio, as they refer to as it was a living thing, big and wise, there to protect and inspire those who vistit the beautiful city.
For my works in digital I generally use a Wacom pencil and sometimes just my index finger.
