“Ride” is an interpretation of a subway platform. A place suspended in time, where one waits, longing to be in another place. The subway takes a huge part of our time and it can be seen as an engulfing mouth. Depending on the light reflecting on this acrylic piece of art and its position, you will see the monster trying to eat its prey. The piece is a subtil edit of nine variations of the original image, to represent the variety of subway platforms, always different, but the same, showing their own colors, but always linked to a sensation of void and desire to move on.
