One day when I was living alone, I saw an abandoned kitchen and experienced a strange feeling of both positive and negative as described above. This was the trigger for the creation of this work. I composed this work with an image of the saturation of Pop Art and the shadows of Surrealism, and with an awareness that the work could be perceived in both positive and negative ways. For the title of the work, I chose a word that expresses the emotions and circumstances behind the painting with a touch of humor. I hope that the title of the work will change the impression of the scene depicted by capturing it through words, and create an experience that will change one's sense of values about everyday events, which are not special at all. I mainly use an iPad to draw pictures. Digital painting is not acceptable in art. I have heard such words several times in the course of my activities. However, when I wanted to paint a picture in the modern age, it was quite natural for me to choose this technique, and especially in this work, it was important what I wanted to paint and what impression I wanted to give, including the title, and it was not so important what I painted with. I am working on the canvas called iPad every day, half jokingly thinking that just as Warhol's Campbell's soup cans made the silkscreening technique acceptable, Goat's Sapporo beer cans will make digital printing acceptable.
