"View 6" is a limited edition museum-quality fine art print from my series "Images of the World". The edition includes only 10 items. To create this work, I combined my scanned hand-made drawings with digital graphics. The print is made with giclée technique in archival quality on world-recognized Hahnemühle paper.
"View 6" will become one of the frames of the new video that I'm currently working on. This piece is inspired by actual astrophysical issues, added by some fantasy elements. The drawing relates to the theme of searching life on exoplanets – planets, similar to Earth. What would extraterrestrial flora and fauna look like? I suggest a kind of preimage of this fluctuating life – uncertain forms, still in the process of refining its shape, further to come to our eyes. From year to year people keep searching for life conditions in space. The ray of light, like a flash from a lamp, scanning the alien landscape, is my symbol of this persistent search that humans go on and on with.
