"Royal Bath" is a photograph of an elephant bull chilling in the cool waters of the Zambezi at sunset after a boiling hot summer day.
I was photographing this scene from the boat cruising the Zambezi.
The elephant bull was enjoying his swim really close that sometimes gave me a feeling I could nearly touch him.
Instead of creating a close-up portrait, I tried to include much of the water and the sky beautifully painted pink and red by the setting sun.
I was really touched by the magic of the scene that reminded me more of an artist's canvas filled with red and pink tones which I tried to convey in my photograph.
