"THE BEECHES OF MONTE CUCCO" (I faggi di Monte Cucco). When I met them completely by chance in the Marche area, I was not alone but with people very dear to me, a magical day full of joy and serenity.
In order to photograph them in the pouring rain, I kept everyone waiting, attracting the jeers and jokes of my companions (they in the warmth of the car, me outside soaked but happy).
I remember with pleasure this meeting, which for me means family, the energy of togetherness, and the pleasure of being together.

Through my life project dedicated to trees I would like to give them something more than a simple, beautiful composition: a part of me as I have known and experienced them.

Concept

Luca Zampini is an artist based in Ferrara, Italy. His photographic work has been so far exhibited and published in Europe. Luca's current series "HUGS - The Tree Calling" explores his passion for trees, his favorite subject. He has always loved them and today many know him as Tree Photographer. He does not photograph to simply show beautiful trees. He search for trees in the world that call him and uses photography as a means to make the unique and unrepeatable moment of their meeting. Over the years he has identified a few key points based on the feelings that arise within him at that specific time. He expresses them in photography with overlapping shots; often almost unwatchable individually but which find meaning in their union. The idea that impelled him to realize this life project was to give the trees something more than a simple, beautiful composition: a piece of himself as he has met and experienced them.

If there is a string on the back of the canvas or the back of the frame, you can hang it with a pin type that has a short hooking surface.
