Description

“Waves” is a monumental black mulberry tree from northern Italy. Title was suggested to me by some friends in FB/IG, and I think it is appropriate considering the effect that came out. I included it in the flyer for a solo exhibition in Ferrara, my hometown.

Here you can see the work in my smallest size: 45x60 cm. However, "Waves" can also be ordered in 60x80 and 97,5x130 cm sizes, as long as the 5 copies of each are still available. Fine art Hahnemühle print, museum quality, as usual.

Concept

Luca Zampini is an artist based in Ferrara, Italy. His photographic work has been so far exhibited and published in Europe. Luca's current series "HUGS - The Tree Calling" explores his passion for trees, his favorite subject. He has always loved them and today many know him as Tree Photographer. He does not photograph to simply show beautiful trees. He search for trees in the world that call him and uses photography as a means to make the unique and unrepeatable moment of their meeting. Over the years he has identified a few key points based on the feelings that arise within him at that specific time. He expresses them in photography with overlapping shots; often almost unwatchable individually but which find meaning in their union. The idea that impelled him to realize this life project was to give the trees something more than a simple, beautiful composition: a piece of himself as he has met and experienced them.

If you are concerned about repayment costs, such as when renting a house, wall pins and hooks that do not leave noticeable hole marks are available at major DIY Store and art supply stores.

If you want to hang a canvas with a hook, a hook type with a long hooking surface, such as a V-shaped type is recommended.

If there is a string on the back of the canvas or the back of the frame, you can hang it with a pin type that has a short hooking surface.
