Hello, my name is Talisha McDaniel. I'm a New Wave Collage
Artist. I recently, discovered my gift. After a tragedy in my
life, struck the core of my World. And changed, my life forever.
It, was the Lost of Both my parents. They were ripped from my
heart, and torn from my Soul. How could this be! A seamless
dark cloud, covered my Blue skies. Where, I could No longer see the sun!
This cloud, name Depression. It trapped me, inside myself.
Where, I only felt safe. And, where I silently wanted to Die!
My, only escape from Reality. Was in my dreams. In, my dreams!
I could create my reality. And hide from the Knowing. That
cloud, still hoovered over me. And now, it found its way into my
dreams. Tears poured down my face, like an Endless rain.
What to Do? Where, To turn? God heard my cries! And answered, My suffering heart! By giving Me!
A place to store my pain, and tears. He gave me
the Gift of Art! I grabbed a pair of scissors, a few magazines,
And started cutting. I saw, these Beautiful visions in my head.
And then, I created them. Every vision, in my head, or In my
Dreams. I learned, how to make my Reality a Collage.
Months went by, and I noticed. My tears, we're drying up! I
continue, To be inspired everyday. My pain, is now my strength!
And, my tears. Are now of Joy! My dark cloud, is fading. But it's
Never gone! I just recently Lost the Love of my Life! My Reality
collage continues. Atleast, I know Now. How to create Beauty
thru pain.
