Graphic Rest in Peace (2021) depicts a large feather tree and angels quietly mourning beneath it. The title of this painting, which bears the sentence "Rest in Peace" engraved on gravestones in Europe and the United States, was created out of mourning for the lives that have been irrationally lost due to the Corona disaster and other natural disasters that have occurred since before that time. This time, it was produced as a giclee print on a wooden panel with a water-gloss finish. It is a reminder of the fragility of life, which can easily disappear, and of the miraculous existence of life on the basis of fragility. The impermanence of the world and the sanctity of life are connected to the mourning activities of the imaginary world. Based on long-lasting reflections, the work was delicately depicted through a combination of 3DCG and drawings. Whatever the way of parting, the feelings of prayer for the departed to rest in peace are woven together with serenity. Giclee prints are applied on Japanese domestic fine art paper "KAKITA" and the support is finished on a wooden panel. Giclee printing is a next-generation printmaking technique characterized by its ability to print fine details and reproduce vivid colors.
