Concept

The tree is a symbolic material of serenity and reassurance that takes the place of a mother's arms, and it is an object with a comprehensive meaning for the things that exist around it that are not normally seen because it is always by her side like a mother. These are things that have been passed by indifferently for a long time, but at some point they become objects of precious attention as rain the moment their eyes match with them. The repetition of the short lines engraved on the copper plate and the hours of labor contain the long time that has passed and are expressed in the form of a contemplative tree in a lonely landscape.
A single object, a tree, fills the entire screen, and at the center of the screen, a wooden column forms the central axis, and bare trunks and branches extend across the screen. Depending on the length, thickness, slope, overlap, etc. of the lines that are constantly repeated, the pillars and branches of trees are distinguished, and the contrast of the screen also depends on the density and sophistication of the lines. The space created by the lines and blanks is blurred from thick branches to twigs according to the density and accumulation of lines, and is eventually absorbed into the air. An entity that started as a line breaks down as it moves away from the column and is absorbed into the ambiguous flow of air. the feeling of blurred lines in the air is more emphasized. The soft but strong vitality of the willow leaves the existing dense composition and puts a relaxed description on the screen. It expresses the power of the coming space more strongly. Everything that is created in nature repeats the process of combination and change, creation and extinction of the smallest unit, and the process of human, nature, and art is viewed as a unified life, and the cycle of existence and extinction is expressed through the shape of a tree.
