This work was created using the mezzotint technique of copperplate engraving. I expressed my theme of "the gap between universal human emotions and the modern age.
I believe that everyone has experienced the feeling of being moved or moved by something beautiful. And that experience must be very important for us. However, in today's world, many of us live our daily lives in a very hectic tempo. We want to live beautifully, but it is difficult to do so in these times. There is a gap between our universal sentiments and the times we live in. However, we should not be pessimistic about it, but rather, when we realize it, it is the beginning of the end.
Mezzotint is characterized by its deep black color, but in my case, I dared to create white areas in order to create an image of light in the darkness. If you look closely at the details, you can see the little traces of my handiwork. The prints are printed and then painted with acrylic paint, so they are different from the usual monochrome prints.
