Description

The scenery seen in the moonlight is vague and unclear, and it looks like an abstract painting that is received differently by the viewer. The abstract painting is titled "in the moonlight".
The plate produced by corroding and melting the copper plate for a long time was monotype-printed so that the same thing could not be printed, and was drawn in watercolor.
The embossed pattern made of the unevenness of the plate looked like an animal playing in the moonlight, so it was added to the series in the moonlight.

Concept

Kayoko’s main style is copperplate engraving. Words, scenery, events that she sees and hear in her daily life becomes a story. She captures the story and expresses them as an art by using prints, drawings, and mixed media. She is pursuing research of expression by combining different materials such as watercolor paintning on copperplate prints, silkscreen, Japanese paper, glass beads, and so on. Recently, she has also worked on pen paintings with watercolor coloring and pen drawings and copperplate drawings with illustration touch as well to expand her variety of works.

If you are concerned about repayment costs, such as when renting a house, wall pins and hooks that do not leave noticeable hole marks are available at major DIY Store and art supply stores.

If you want to hang a canvas with a hook, a hook type with a long hooking surface, such as a V-shaped type is recommended.

If there is a string on the back of the canvas or the back of the frame, you can hang it with a pin type that has a short hooking surface.
