ARTUR TEIXEIRA (Plastic Artist) About the artist: When Artur Teixeira was 25 years old he discovered his passion for car design. He drawed (restyled) the legendary and famous Sporty English car MG-TD 1952. He named it MG SPAIC. The car was produced by SPAIC Indústria e Comércio de Carroceria Ltda. It was hosted in Rio de Janeiro,Brazil. It was property of Artur Teixeira and it had big sales success. Late 1990s the production was suspended because of opening the importation vehicles by Collor government. Since then the fiber glass car, like the buggy, lost sales market too. Artur made some piece of art in fiber glass with sculptured modeling on polyester mass. He has entered on exposition at CCITÀ AMERICA and BELA BIENAL EUROPEIA E LATINO-AMERICANA DE ARTE CONTEMPORÂNEA (The Fifth Edition).
