I am a self-made artist, who never studied from anyone. It was interesting for me to mold the plants into bronze and make some compositions and sculptures of them. It was very hard in the beginning, especially with the high temperature soldiering, and I spent 6-7 years to get molding technologies, because every plant has its own specifications, regimes, etc,. But, step by step I found the secrets and proceeded. The most exciting for me is the human-nature unity, and one can always see human images in my bronze plants. The second, most interesting for me, direction became the “drawing in bronze” - the picture-collages, where molded bronze is used instead of pencils and brushes. I have to try a lot on the models before making the final composition with the enamel, patin, etc,. It is an exciting thing for me for its numerous associations. Yet my works have complex surfaces and one needs to magnify their pictures for right evaluation.
