I am Stavros Konidaris, Athens based jewelry designer and sculptor. Working in mainly silver or bronze, I am inspired by the symmetrical and logical beauty of physics, everyday simplicity, and the traditions of my home country, Greece. Before becoming a jewelry designer, I worked as a craftsman on sculptures designed by Christoforos Sklavenitis, where I gained invaluable technical experience, as well as giving me the motivation to create my own works of art. As a designer, what intrigues me most is experimenting with new mediums and techniques. I choose a minimal path as a means to escape today's information overload.
