Photographer/Artist Shinichiro Uchikura belongs to KANA KAWANISHI GALLERY. After graduating from the Japan College of Photography and Imaging Arts (Osaka), Uchikura became independent and currently lives and works in Miyazaki Prefecture. Major awards include the 2022 Ihei Kimura Award. She received the 41st Canon New Cosmos of Photography Excellence Award (selected by Tomoko Sawada, 2018), Honorable Mention at the 33rd, 34th, and 36th Canon New Cosmos of Photography (selected by Minoru Shimizu, 2010; Katsumi Omori, 2011; Noi Sawaragi, 2013), the 7th EMON AWARD Grand Prix (2018), the WFD Curator Award, and the KONICA MINOLTA Photo Premio Award, Nikon Juna 21, and many others. 19 works in museum collection (Kiyosato Photo Art Museum, Yamanashi).
