Concept

I would consider myself a contemporary western and fine art photographer whose main focus is the power and grace of the feminine. I considers “Beauty” to be a living presence in this world. Its refection can be seen in a flower, a mountain, or in the eyes of an old woman. I make my home in the Southwestern part of the United States, a place filled with the mysteries of many cultures and influences. Such magic gives me a wealth of subjects to include in my work, from enchanted landscapes and wildlife to its amazing peoples. My Pieces here are a reflection of that beauty.

Biography

Born into a family of artists and musicians, Lani was surrounded by art, music and poetry from an early age.

Now she lives with her husband in the Southwestern part of the United States on a high mesa. Most days they are visited by their local band of wild mustangs.

Her formal education comes from Yavapai College in Northern Arizona, where she received degrees in both Graphic Design and Photography.

Lani’s work has been shown in southwest galleries and art festivals.
