Manuel Valle was born in Bogotá, Colombia. At 12th years old he won the painting award Shankar International Competition gaved by Indira Gandhi through The Indian Embassy in Colombia. At 14th , The United States of América Embassy in our country invited him to exhibit one of he´s works with some other recognized artists for a benefit auction.
He studied Marketing and advertising at the Universidad Central de Bogotá where he got an scholarship because his merit in photography. That is way as been an artist he found that fine art photography is what he wanted to do, so he studied different photographic portrait courses in New York at Parsons and in Madrid at the Escuela-F8.
He made a photographic fine art book in black and white, with famous actors in Colombia.Actually it is placed in the files of the Biblioteca Nacional, as an historic document of acting and actors in Colombia. It was sold in main libraries in the country, museums , theaters, and Art-shops.
The name of the book is Actors: portraits from the soul. 140 dramatic images in character , with prologues or comments of Eduardo Serrano (art curator), Ana María Sánchez (actriz), Joseph Waklyda ( movie director in New York) and Vincent de Paul ( actor and producer in Hollywood).
He has shown his work in solo and collective exhibitions at the : Museo de Arte Moderno de Bogotá, Alianza Colombo_Francesa Bogotá, Teatro Jorge Eliecer Gaitán Bogotá, at the Geba, Minimal, Espacio Allterno of Uniandinos galleries, Bogotá Sofitel Hotel, Cali Nh Royal Hotel. At the Colombian consulate in New York, The Black and white cultural festival New York, El Salvador Consulate in New York, Westhab foundation New York, The Arterraza cultural festival chosed him in 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020, to participate in the Arterraza Art Festival adding him into their book as a colombian talent, First Exposition of Sacred Art in New York of the sacred heart church. Mention of the Latin American Institute INC, in Hackensack, New Jersey, Colombian Embassy in Brusells, with his solo of works : Children of Colombia.And in the important colombian art festival Barcu, where he was honored to participate in Spotlights with the curator aprovement of the spanish profesional in art Caridad Botella who worked with Sothebys in Amsterdam. At the Regina Hotel in Bogotá, in Israel at the 2020 Photography Photo Israel, at the Santa Fé Foundation in Bogotá,and at the in Casa de la Cultura in Anapoima.
He works photography in portrait, converted into black and white, then to sepia, print the image in photographic paper, and then paint over the image with color oils , bringing a new atmosphere at the masterpiece , always high key.
