Pepe Cañabate is a self-taught professional photographer based in Palma. Although he experimented in various fields of photography, he specialised in black and white photography which led him to create a professional laboratory. Later, as a result of the progressive and practical disappearance of analogue photography, he adapted to digital photography and is currently working in post-production as well as digital printing and editing.
Apart from his professional work, he has never abandoned his passion for photography, which he continues to develop away from current trends and fashions.
In his creative process he is involved in all phases of the creation of his work. From the shooting of the photograph, the postproduction to the final product of the framed and printed work, a detailed and constructive process which makes his work complete.
