I live on top of a cliff on the Isle of Skye in the far north of Scotland; a place of inspiration, myth and legend. The colours all around fascinate me and here I find my heart can roam wild like the deer, otters, eagles and blackface sheep that surround me. In all kinds of weather, I am to be found on a clifftop or by the beach with my camera.

After a long and successful career as a senior research scientist working with complex therapeutics I took a different direction into art. I am completely self taught using my skills in research to learn the complex art of photography. Now that I have mastered photography I want to push myself further and experiment to see how I can use those tools to create the images I imagine when I look at the landscape.

I have been a professional photographer for several years and selling my work since 2013. My art is held in collections all over the world and I have had exhibitions in New York, Scotland and an ongoing exhibition of a selection of my blue work in Seoul, South Korea.

My work is produced in a variety of formats and can make bespoke sizes. My prints are available as :
