Concept

Sometimes we elevate ourselves to imaginary worlds to escape reality and to look for a deeper understanding of our inner world and higher purpose. During this quest, we see the world as we are. So, I try to express this profound process of self-awareness through my photography and as an invitation to look at things with a different eye.

Biography

Ramseit Cairos is a Venezuelan photographer since 2007 who currently is living in Chile since 2016. She creates digital content while she travels for hotels and other tourism companies. And she is also a tour guide.

During her Chemical Engineer studies and working period, she attended short photography courses, including a summer course in Parson Paris, France (2011).

Her work as a photographer and writer has been featured in various photography exhibitions, magazines, and printed media. She has also made some short TV appearances and has been jury in some contests.

She started with indoor self-portraits, portraits, events, and weddings. But since she started to do trekking, she translated these pictures to outdoors and incorporated night photography and landscapes, which she shares in social media and vlogs.
