“Mt.Fuji 〜富士山〜”

Fuji, the symbol of Japan, is the motif of this work. Fuji is a symbol of the Japanese spirit, a condensation of culture, spirituality, and the grandeur of nature. I have had the opportunity to live at the foot of Mt. Fuji, a fantastic view of the world that sometimes fascinates me in the midst of everyday scenery. I was moved many times by the view. This work continues to capture the charm of Japan through Mt.

Series

“submerged forest ~水没林~”

This series is based on the motif of "submerged forests," which are trees submerged in water. The series captures the process of submerging and transforming trees for some reason, adapting to new conditions, and continuing to live within the flow of the four seasons. In contrast to the four seasons that come throughout the year, submerged forests show us their drama as they repeat the cycle of extinction and rebirth. At first glance, submerged forests appear to be on the verge of extinction. However, life continues to exist in new forms, showing us its strength and vitality with the changing seasons each year. We hope that through our works, we can provide some hints for living.

Born in Chiba, Japan in 1988. Started photography in 2013. The reason why he started photography was because he wanted to leave the night view of Nagasaki he visited on a trip in a beautiful form. After that, using film and digital cameras, he continued to click his shutter because he was attracted to ephemeral changes in scenery and changes in scenery that occur over a long period of time. Eventually, he developed his own philosophy of photography, saying that "the appeal of photography is its ability to focus on and express subtle changes" and "the greatest form of photographic expression is prints," and began to create works with prints as his goal, and became self-taught. He also continues to broaden the range of his photographic expression of his subjects by incorporating techniques such as drone photography and time-lapse photography. Currently, his main subjects are the various landscapes he encounters on his travels, and he is challenging himself to shoot from multiple perspectives and themes.
