Concept

There is a 1,200 year old sacred tree in the Ujigami shrine near my workplace. The powerful roots that have withstood many natural disasters, the planets that look like the setting sun and the moon, and the red background were inspired by Japan. The land like an ocean or a river was made a little more three-dimensional with modeling paste. I painted this work as a token of my gratitude to the Ujigami, who have been listening to my prayers for the past 10 years.

Biography

Started painting acrylic paintings 8 years ago as a self-taught artist, and held a solo exhibition 2 years ago in his hometown. Participated in a group exhibition at Ginza Gallery and Links. Opened an online store in 2024. Currently working mainly on commissioned paintings.
