Biography

to be updatedDiego Cienfuegos was born, he graduated from the School of Arts and the University of Buenos Aires in Architecture. After completing his studies, he began his career at the prestigious Mario Roberto Alvarez&asoc studio specialized in architectural design.

He participated in numerous Competitions, among which the following stand out:

• 1st prize (selected) for Buenos Aires CHACARITA – LACROZE Competition (July 2000).

• Honorable Mention in Santiago de Compostela, competing in the second phase of the CHACARITA – LACROZE contest with 27 international studios (2000).

• 1st prize in the Ideas Competition for the New Urban Campus of UADE (April 2001). • 5th prize in the Ideas Competition for the Comodoro Rivadavia Park and Courts (2001).

• Honorable Mention Competition of Ideas for the New Colegiales Area (August 2001).

• Selection of the Vatican Square Ideas Competition (2001).

• 1st prize Plaza de la República Ideas Competition (2001).

• 1st prize Municipal Design Center Ideas Competition ex Barracas Fish Market (March 2002).

• Honorable Mention in the Kónex Cultural Center Ideas Competition (2003).

• Honorable Mention Parque de los Patricios Ideas Competition (2003).

In 2005 he founded his own architecture studio, specializing in housing and large-scale commercial architecture, and continues to work to this day.

In the year 2020 he resumes artistic activity. With a strong architectural influence his main qualities are the plays with forms, geometry and colors.
