Yuan-Hong Li (1996-present) M.F.A., Department of Fine Arts, Division of Creative Theory, National Taiwan Normal University 2019-2021 "Graffiti! Personal Garden" is a series of creative works for the period of 2019-2021, in which ancient paintings or classic images are put into personal space in the form of parody and simulation, resulting in a humorous and absurd phenomenon. In the 21st century, popular culture is a bridge of communication between young people. Through the observation of the contemporary social scene, we understand the art phenomenon under the development of cultural industry and discuss the post-modern parody. Through the spiritual problems behind the modern urbanites, we will develop our own concerns and explanations about parody and the field. Through the flourishing development of parody, the subcultural elements of cartooning have leaped into the language of the cultural industry as the author's creative concept and practice. 2022-Present From the previous series "Classics Intervene in the Individual" to this series of classic retrieval, updating, and resetting, the author uses parody to express his own vision on the one hand, and interprets the era of life through sci-fi and mechanical themes on the other hand, as well as searching for new forms and techniques in the oriental ink medium to respond to his own "special texture of the oriental medium".
