Concept

KOOSAIHO, a unique drawing method, is based on the idea of breaking down. The act of painting is a way of releasing the ties of the self and turning one's attention to the unlimited world, or the natural world, by destroying the world as it is limited by the self.

Biography: (I don't have much of a background, so I'll write about my upbringing.) August 9, 1958: Born in Etajima, Hiroshima Prefecture. 1974: Entered Sasebo Technical High School. Ran away from home to Tokyo in the same year. Returns within a week, with fear and longing for the immensity of the city. 1977-1980 Graduates and follows his parents' wishes. However, after the first year, he quits his job and becomes a stuntman. Played the role of a gorilla in the Japan-US co-production [THE IVORY APE]. Also co-starred with Jack Palance. He was chosen to play a special effects hero, but his legs were too short, so he switched to playing a monster and left the entertainment industry due to an injury sustained during filming. In 1982, after returning to his hometown, he was inspired by the "essence of human happiness" and wrote a booklet about it. However, no one understood him, and he decided to live his whole life to realize it. 1983: Encounters the works of Juan Miro and begins painting oil paintings with "love" as a motif. 1985-1992: Held an exhibition of oil paintings at Gallery Kelbeam in Ginza, Tokyo. Held solo and group exhibitions at the same gallery every year. However, he became so involved in support activities that he fell into debt, and fell into the hell of loan sharks. He had an internal experience of himself melting away in the "darkness" and of the "light" that emerged from it. Three of his oil paintings were used for the opening of a concert by T-BORUN, a popular band at the time. 1992-1995 Moved to Tochigi to pay off debt. Encounter with sketching. 1996: Owned a gallery. Thanks to the support of friends and parents, debt repayment is completed. Sketched around Hokkaido in early winter while staying in the wild. There, he encountered a rainbow enveloping the earth. 1997 - Visits Ikitsuki Island, encounters a primitive landscape, and wishes to have a gallery here. 1998- He invented the "KOOSAIHO" (rainbow color method), which expresses the colors of nature by overlapping the colors of the rainbow. 1998- Started a tent gallery in an abandoned house on the northernmost tip of Ikitsuki Island. Met Mr. Shogo Matsuda of "Hyuga Shinshiki Mura" (new village in Hyuga). With the support of his friends and many others, he renovated the abandoned house. Held exhibitions more than ten times a year in various places in Kyushu. 2000- Married and settled down. Gave birth to a daughter. In 2002, when Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress of Japan visited the island, he exhibited his works in the rest area [Shima no Yakata]. They were viewed by the guests. Around 2010- She stopped painting because she could no longer make a living from her paintings. He started working at various jobs (during this time, he devoted himself to writing). (In 2023, he published a full-length novel "The Golden Dragon and the Legend of the Stars". It is currently published on the website "note". Quit his job and resumed his activities as a painter. Preparing to open a gallery in the northernmost part of Ikitsuki.
