Painting is a way for me to express my emotions without having to put words to it. I paint intuitively, I try to recreate on the canvas the state of mind in which I find myself during a period. Between the moment I start a work and the moment I finish it, I go through several sensations or feelings, and each colour, each shape represents one of them. Some colours are still visible once the painting is finished, others are hidden by new ones that have been superimposed, but even if we no longer see them, they are still there on the canvas. Just like the feelings that we feel during a more or less long phase, we go through a lot of emotions, they have been experienced and have left traces, of which we are aware or which are buried. With painting, I can exteriorise all that, and with abstract art, I can share it by giving freedom to those who are watching to feel in their own way what I have tried to describe.
