Fred Bugs, pseudonym of Federico Cabras is an abstract painter and artist born in 1997 whose works are associated with the abstract vision of POP ART, but also with primitive and childish art.
The artist formed at the end of the first decade of the 2000s, initially representing geometric shapes joined like a puzzle,as the years passed his way of making art changed under the influence of street art of the 70' and 80' years of the 900'.
In these years the artist shifted his studies from the U.S. to Spain, specifically to Catalan abstract art of the early decades of the 900' inspired by the particularity of the abstract forms and colors used by the artist Joan Miró.
Despite being 26 years old, the artist already has several exhibitions in Italy and Europe.
The artist's gift of creating figures with a POP vision in abstract scenarios that are easy and immediately recognizable, and the various messages of equality and often social criticism of a selfish society that is moving toward a total lack of emotionality have given the artist much prominence,especially in Europe and overseas.
