Tvesha Singh (b. 1996) had a mostly nomadic childhood as part of a military family, which gave her the chance to appreciate and deeply connect with the different landscapes of India. Those vivid impressions from her early years have had a lasting impact on her art practice.

Tvesha is a self-taught artist. She completed her graduation and post-graduation degrees in English Literature from Lady Shri Ram College for Women and Hansraj College at the University of Delhi. The artist is also proficient in French and piano. Artistically inclined from an early age, she pursued painting alongside her education. After completing her higher studies, Tvesha decided to devote herself to art full-time.

The artist has incorporated mediums such as oils, acrylics, watercolours and lino-cut printmaking into her practice. Her curiosity to explore the versatility of different mediums as well as chasing moments of discovery that happen in the studio are what drive her to pursue art. She currently works out of her home art studio in Ambala, Haryana.

Tvesha’s work is in private collections both in India and abroad.
