Growing up in an artistic environment, Kuala Lumpur-based Peisy Ting did not set out to be an artist. Still, a lingering affection for art and design led her to Birmingham City University, the UK, where she graduated with a degree in Visual Communications in 1999. Upon her return to Malaysia, she spent more than a decade and a half as an art director in advertising before taking a heartfelt leap to pursue her hidden passion for painting.

Peisy's unique style is characterized by an intense colour palette, bold strokes, and a sense of space that creates a focal point. Her paintings draw on the viewer's emotions, inviting them to experience the work on a deeper level. One common feedback she receives from her viewers and buyers is that her paintings "grow on them" over time, as the emotional impact of her work becomes more apparent with repeated viewing.

Peisy has exhibited her work in galleries and exhibitions around the world, including Seoul, London, Bangkok, and Miami, where she has received critical acclaim for her unique vision and artistic style. For Peisy, art is a form of communication that transcends cultural and linguistic barriers, representing people across time and place. Through her paintings, she seeks to create a universal language of freedom and expression that speaks to the heart and soul of the viewer.
